We visited Jasper, Alberta in late May 2008. Here are some scenes we catched. A SD70M-2 and SD75I do some switching before they leave town, direction Yellowhead Pass. Another wb freight awaits recrewing. Some Canadian Geese are disturbed by an extremely long eb container train.

A long eastbound CN grain train passes through Jasper, AB, Canada. To save space the video quality is poor but the details are not important. The intention is to provide an impression of the typical length of CN freight trains on this transcontinental line.

We raced the train and got ahead of it five times to get the video. Taking this train with observation cars and balconies through the Rocky Mountains is definitely on our list of things to do.
